This shop is located in the Beach Centre mall on Jumeriah road. The Beach Centre is the the blue Mall not far from Jumeriah mosque, it’s most well know as the home of Zacs the uniform store. The shop is easily missed even though the windows are filled with ‘stuff’ and covered in signs made from luminous card. On the outside it looks tatty and unassuming but inside it’s an Aladdin’s cave of craft treasures.
I didn’t look too much at the teaching supplies because I was so engrossed in the crafts, they have everything. The usual, paints, pencil, canvasses, but then they have supplies for card making, stamping, decoupage, cake decorating, jewellery making, candle making the list is endless. The isles are narrow (be careful with large shoulder bags) and they are piled from floor to ceiling, do not be fooled by the small exterior of this shop it is a real craft gem.
So next time your off to Zacs for that compulsory uniform visit take some time out and visit Wasco Trading for arts, crafts, stationary and teaching supplies.
